Mumbai: The AITA CS-7 Under-18 Tennis Tournament is currently underway in Lucknow, bringing together promising young tennis talent from several states across the country.
Organised by SDS Tennis Academy, the tournament is being held from May 25 to May 30, 2026, at the La Martiniere Lawn Tennis Facility located within La Martiniere College.
The event was inaugurated by veteran tennis player Sunil Bhatnagar, who attended as the chief guest.
SDS Tennis Academy founding member Pawan Sagar said the qualifying rounds were held on May 24, while the main draw matches are taking place between May 25 and 30.
Players from host state Uttar Pradesh, along with participants from Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, and Telangana, are competing in the tournament.
The championship features singles and doubles matches in both boys’ and girls’ categories, with several emerging players aiming to make their mark on the national junior tennis circuit.
